YETI® Engraving – Frequently Asked Questions
Will engraving damage my YETI tumbler?
No. Laser engraving removes only the outer coating on coloured tumblers or marks the surface on stainless steel. It does not affect insulation or performance.
Is YETI engraving dishwasher safe?
Yes. Laser engraving is permanent and dishwasher safe. There is no ink, vinyl, or overlay to peel or fade.
Can you engrave logos on YETI tumblers?
Yes. Simple logos engrave very well. For best results:
- Vector files (SVG, AI, PDF) are ideal
- High-resolution PNGs can also work
We’ll let you know if artwork needs adjustment before engraving.
What colour will the engraving be on a YETI?
- Coloured YETI tumblers engrave to a silver or stainless finish
- Natural stainless YETI tumblers engrave a dark grey tone
Exact results vary slightly by finish, which is normal.
Can you engrave more than one side?
Yes. Additional sides or wrap designs can be added for an extra cost. We’ll confirm this before proceeding.
Can I bring my own YETI tumbler?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own item for engraving. Pricing is based on engraving only.
How long does YETI engraving take?
Most single tumblers are completed quickly once artwork is approved. If timing matters, let us know — we’ll be upfront about turnaround.
Do you engrave inside jokes or custom text?
Absolutely. Names, dates, short messages, coordinates, and meaningful phrases are all welcome. Please double-check spelling — engraving is permanent.
