How long will my order take to be made?

All of the order times are an estimate and not a guarantee.

Standard Service

Our standard turn around time is 5 to 7 business days before pick up or shipping.

48hr Rush Service

An intermediate option for those unable to wait for the standard service. We'll have your project ready to pick up or ship in two business days.

How are Acrylic and Mirrored Acrylics protected for Shipping?

All small wooden and acrylic products will come with a protective layer on one or both sides of the material. Please peel this off to reveal the finished product.

Is the Glassware able to go in the dishwasher?

Yes!  We use superior Laser Engraving techniques to achieve deep, permanent etchings into the face of the glass.  

Can I hang my product outside?

Please let us know if you are going to put your product outside as certain products are not suitable for use outside. We can create your product for use outside however this may require alternative materials and finishes. Additional charges may apply.  

How do I pay for my order?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express debit and credit cards.

Are spaces considered as part of the character allowance?

No. Spaces and punctuation have already been taken into account when we give you the character allowance. In some circumstances, we can adjust the spacing to fit your inscription. ”The Beauty of Personalization”

What do I do if there’s a mistake in my submission?

Please ensure that all customized text is correct when you order. If you have already submitted your order please call us immediately at 289.716.1491 or info@laserartist.ca and we will try and resolve this problem.

What file formats can I send you?

To be able to effectively cut and etch your designs for you, we need Vector based artwork such as .ai .eps .svg and .pdf. Depending on the artwork needed, we can occasionally use png or jpegs.

You can
- sell or gift unlimited physical products made from this file
You CANNOT
- sell or redistribute any part of this design in an way (even if modified or offered in another format)
- modify any part of the design and claim it as your own
- use any photos in the listing or file for your own marketing, never remove watermarking from photos shown

Will my wood product warp, dry or crack?

There are two factors that come into play when making products from timber.

We give our wooden board products a really good oiling. This is a key factor against damage. Timber oil companies will tell you that a minimum of 3 – 4 coats are required for timber protection and that is exactly what we do. In some cases, like our Carving Boards, which are subjected to the most moisture, we will use 7 – 10 coats for Maximum protection.

Will my gift be exactly as shown on your website?

Wood is a natural product and no two pieces of wood are identical. The colour and grain will differ with every piece. All sizes stated in the product information are approximate, we try our best to ensure consistency.

How do I place an order if I live outside of Canada?

Please contact me at 289.716.1491 or info@laserartist.ca for a quote on delivery fees and timing. Please note, we cannot quote for Customs and Taxes and delivery times will be longer than those stated for Canada.
