Make You And Your Wood Happy!

Make easy work of caring for your wooden heirloom quality gift. My all-natural Wood Butter preserver contains a special blend of deep acting oils to soak into the wood while the pure beeswax adds a protective coat and soft luster.

I love beeswax for its soft and so smooth texture when applied to wood. My special Wood Butter is perfect for looking after your board. It helps make it water-resistant but not water-proof.

Wood Butter comes in 3 sizes:

  • 15 ml - Suitable for 3 medium board applications or 1 large board application

  • 30 ml - Suitable for 6 medium board applications or 3 large board applications

  • 60 ml - Suitable for 12 medium board applications or 6 large board applications

Washing your board

You can wash your wood items in warm soapy water and then rinse and dry. Do not put in a dishwasher as the heat will damage the wood.

Wood cutting board care sometimes requires you to sanitize the wood. You can rub with a bit of lemon and then rinse off, or wipe them with white vinegar. Vinegar is an excellent disinfectant, killing E. Coli bacteria, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus.

Cutting boards are best placed at an angle after washing so the water drains. Dry boards don't breed germs which like moist surfaces.
